The Monster Dash Costume Contest will be bigger and better this year due to our new Costume Contest Sponsor, the Old Farmhouse Restaurant!
The Costume Contest will begin on Monster Dash Saturday morning promptly at 9:30 am. Entrants are asked to check in at the costume contest headquarters table at the band shell no later than 9:15am.
Who can enter? Registered runners and Carbo-Load Pasta Party patrons (must have your party wristband to enter) may enter at no additional cost. All others are welcome to enter the costume contest for a day-of entry fee of $5.
Judging will take place on the band shell in each category between 9:30 and 10:00am. First 200 entrants will receive a participant’s ribbon and gift bucks to the Old Farmhouse Restaurant! Winners in each category will be awarded a winner’s ribbon and will become a finalist for the overall best costume contest.
The Best Costume Finals will take place at noon, directly after the 10K race. Each category winner will compete in a costume parade on the band shell for first, second and third places for the best overall costume. Winners receive a Monster Dash winner’s trophy thanks to the Old Farmhouse Restaurant!
