The Ashland Schools Foundation supports quality education in the Ashland public schools.
Your participation in the Monster Dash Run for Education will support the following grant programs in the Ashland schools in the current school year:
- Impact Grants in all schools – these grants fund innovative, enriching hands-on projects in (and out!) of the classrooms, making education more fulfilling for students and their teachers. Plus they provide additional equipment and supplies for classrooms to give our students a great education. We awarded a record number of Impact Grants last school year – thanks largely to the Monster Dash profits! Read about the Impact Grants HERE.
Education Support Grants – these larger grants support district and school-wide needs. Last school year over $100,000 was awarded for technology, equity/diversity needs, gardening programs, mural supplies, theater productions and a variety of other needs. This year the Ashland Schools Foundation hopes to grant additional funding to the Ashland public schools. The higher the success of the Monster Dash, the more that number could go up! ASF is extremely grateful to the Ashland Kiwanis Club for their dedication and efforts to make the Monster Dash such an awesome event.
