We’ll be hosting the Monster Activity Village in Lithia Park on race day, 9am to 12:30pm. This is the perfect place for racers and non-racers alike to come together and enjoy FREE Halloween-themed crafts, games, entertainment and more.
And of course, we’ll host our annual Costume Contest in Lithia Park, too! Bring your A-game and see if you can win spookiest, silliest, funniest or cutest in your category.

Online Silent Auction
The 2025 Monster Dash Silent Auction will run October 1st – November 1st. For those who are ready to bid, we’ll have the items available on display for you to see in-person! All the bidding still happens online, and you can see all the items anytime on our Auction page.
ScienceWorks Monster Ball
On Saturday, October 25th you can get creepy and kooky in the afternoon and evening at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum.
Dress in your most creative costume and join the contest, judged by OSF costume pros Jessie Weigel and Callie Segotta, with OSF actor James Ryen returning as emcee.
Experience three “Bite-Sized ScienceLIVE” performances: Ghost Bubbles, Van de Graaff Generator, and the Vacuum Chamber. Explore a walk-through haunted house in the Celebration Room, try karaoke in the Jam Room, and be among the first to see the newly renovated cave exhibit highlighting Oregon’s unique geology and biodiversity.
